The different types of professional pasta cooker
In any type of cooking preparing pasta, even though it may seem a very simple operation, it is actually a ritual that requires a lot of familiarity. The main components to be able to prepare an excellent dish of pasta are certainly the cooking time, for this reason and not to run into gross errors, we often tend to use professional pasta cookers, able to prepare and cook the pasta, even in large quantities, without having to wait for boiling times.
The pasta cooker is mainly used for the preparation of pasta. However, this tool is highly professional and can also be used for cooking other ingredients such as rice, vegetables and soups, whether they are small or large.
The pasta cooker is a highly useful tool that, as mentioned previously, is not only used to reduce cooking times but also allows for a wide range of pasta types. Main pasta cookers are distinguished by technical characteristics and type of feeding, which can be gas or electric.
The gas cookers are characterized by burners or superheated tubes, through which the heat is transmitted to the water inside the tank. The electric pasta cookers, on the other hand, are made of armored plates that are immersed directly in the water. The burners, also completely in stainless steel, have a power of 32 kW. Among the peculiarities there is also the anti-fire device and regulation of the power of the trays.
Both electric or gas cookers can be subdivided by type: Countertop pasta cooker, Single or Double pasta cooker. The various types are distinguished by the shape and quantity of baskets, while the countertop type generally has 4 baskets, the single one and the double one 2. The last models of pasta cooks are also highly sustainable, for this reason they have an “Energy Saving” device, a fundamental accessory that if not present can be installed separately. The energy saving system allows you to heat the water up to the limit temperature of 60 ° C, this allows you to use the heat and recycle the residues of this heat present in the waste water, so as to ensure constant boiling of the water itself.
The pasta cooker’s baskets
The pasta cookers are made entirely of stainless steel and are characterized by the presence of one or more cooking tanks, these are complete with wire mesh baskets with handle, which makes it easier to take and drain pasta water, a process that speeds up by far the pasta preparation phase.
Even the baskets as the whole pasta cooker are completely made of certified stainless steel. But the baskets can also be produced with perforated sheet and micromesh. There are also filters to be used expressly for the pasta cooker baskets, also these are generally made of certified stainless steel and are often found on the bottom of the cooking tray and serve to protect the basket from heat resistances. Usually the filters are made-to-measure and tend to adapt to the size of the pasta cooker.
