1) Constructor.
Do your research about a construction company that builds your property. Find out if the developer is registered or, if not, if they offer any solid and reliable insurance. Consider the reputation of the developer and, if possible, try to visit some of your previous jobs, as well as regularly monitor the work performed on the site that you plan to purchase. Make sure that the developer has a credible reputation, complete the work to the end and carry out construction work at a constant high level.
2) Warranty.
Most new homes are protected by the National Housing Council, witha 10 year Build mark insurance. However, some developers use other suppliers of warranty, in which case you must ensure that they offer reliable and complete coverage in case something goes wrong in your home during the warranty period.
3) Area.
Check the area in which you are planning to relocate, and make sure that you have everything you need, for example, schools, transport links, doctor’s offices, etc. You should also check if there are any plans for major changes in the field in the coming years as factors.
